(CE Broker Course Tracking #20-285103) Clinical Solutions Medical Training’s TNCC certification courses are approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and is designed and developed specifically for RNs. The Trauma Nursing Core Course is a 2 day course sponsored by the Emergency Nurses Association. TNCC is an information loaded course that provides core level knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with implementing the trauma nursing process. The trauma nursing process is used to standardize the approach to trauma care and is reflected throughout the course and manual. The TNCC teaches a systematic approach for the care of injured patient. The purpose of TNCC is to present core level knowledge, refine skills and build a strong foundation for trauma nursing. This course is intended for RNs but may be audited by other medical personnel for CE. Course Prerequisite: TNCC may be officially attended by RNs. It is assumed that the participant possesses generic nursing knowledge, has an understanding of emergency care terminology, and has familiarity with standard emergency equipment.
